「～teen」とつく13から19までの数字と30/40/50/60/70/80/90の読み方って難しいですね。もちろんアクセントを置いてゆっくり言えば通じるのですが(15はteen、50は先頭にアクセント)、ビジネスの話の中では念のために言い直してくれる人も多いです。例えば「fifteen, that is one five」といった具合。「１５」と言ってから「１と５です」と念押しすれば分かりやすく誤解がないですよね。
I think I learned this in Singapore. If we talk about numbers, I found some people say, for example, "fifteen, that is one five" to make it clear it's 15 but not 50. People try to speak clearly especially in business meetings when participants are mainly non-native English speakers.
